Lindt manufactures Lindor truffles, Excellence premium dark chocolate bars and chocolate diamonds, and Lindt Hello seasonal and gift items.

STRATHAM, N.H. — To support continued growth in the United States, Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprungli has acquired a new warehouse and distribution center in Carlisle, Pa. The 400,000-square-foot space will enable increased production to meet growing demand for the company’s products, which include Lindor truffles, Excellence premium dark chocolate bars and chocolate diamonds, and Lindt Hello seasonal and gift items.

The acquisition follows a previously announced multimillion expansion plan for the company’s Stratham, N.H.-based U.S. headquarters, where chocolate is manufactured from bean to finished product.

“As a leader in the premium chocolate category, Lindt is constantly looking for ways to support continued growth and maintain strong company distribution,” said Thomas Linemayr, president and chief executive officer of Lindt USA. “The investment in this warehouse facility is another step for Lindt toward meeting the growing demand for premium chocolate.”

With the new warehouse and distribution center, which is expected to begin operations early next year, Lindt will have three warehouse facilities in the United States, including storage and warehouse capabilities on the Stratham campus. The new facility will also include a retail factory store, which is set to open early next year.
