MILWUAKIE, ORE. — Dave’s Killer Bread has achieved certification by Non-GMO Project Verified for all of its 13 varieties of organic bread. The baker of organic bread already considered itself “clean” by not using artificial ingredients or preservatives.

“Consumers can already see the care we take to source high-quality, nutrition-rich ingredients,” said Michelle Hunt, said vice-president of marketing at Dave’s Killer Bread. “We power pack our breads with ancient grains, seeds and organic ingredients. Organic and non-G.M.O. have always been our way of making bread, before there were certifications or consumer demand. Our clean label confirms it, and we’re proud to have all our breads certified.”

Dave’s Killer Bread has been a strong supporter of Yes on 92, a nonpartisan, grassroots movement fighting for G.M.O. labeling that garnered enough public support to find a spot on the ballot.
