ATCHISON, KAS. — Randy Schrick has been named to the newly expanded position of vice-president of production and engineering at MGP Ingredients, Inc. In the new role, Mr. Schrick will assume leadership of all production activities, in addition to his previous responsibilities over engineering.

Mr. Schrick had previously held the position of vice-president of engineering since 2009, and served as interim co-c.e.o. of MGPI from December 2013 to July 2014. Additionally, he was president of the company’s Perkins, Ill., joint venture operation, Illinois Corn Processing, L.L.C., from November 2009 to December 2011.

Starting as a distillery shift manager in 1973, Mr. Schrick worked his way up the corporate ladder at the company to this point, performing a host of engineering, management and production responsibilities.
