SACRAMENTO, CALIF. — Allan Bridgford Jr. has been reelected to the board of directors of Bridgford Foods Corp. He also will serve on the nominating committee. Mr. Bridgford previously was on the board from October 2011 through March 2014. Since then, he has been a consultant to the company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bridgford was president of Bridgford Foods of Illinois, a division of the company, from January 1983 until October 2002. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in economics. The Bridgford family owns 80% of Bridgford Foods, and Mr. Bridgford, who is 56, is one of the principal owners of Bridgford Industries Inc., the company’s majority shareholder. He is the son of Allan L. Bridgford, who also serves on the company’s board of directors. The elder Mr. Bridgford is part of a five-person executive committee at the company and holds the title of vice-president. The company is primarily engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of an extensive line of frozen, refrigerated, and snack food products including frozen bread and rolls.
