QUINCY, MASS. — Bay State Milling has made five organizational changes ranging across different areas of the specialty ingredients business.
Keith Adams has been promoted to director of manufacturing for milling operations. He joined the company in 2007 as a plant manager in Wichita, Kas., and most recently was director of engineering and director of operations strategy. Mr. Adams received a bachelor’s of arts degree in milling science from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kas.
Edward Fish, Ph.D., has been appointed senior manager – corporate strategy. He will be based at the company’s Quincy headquarters. Mr. Fish received a master’s in business administration and a sustainability certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management.
Sean Finnie has been named principal lead chemist – commercial science. He previously worked as a principal scientist for an international food company. Dr. Finnie received his bachelor’s of science and master’s of science degrees in food science from the University of Idaho. He received his doctorate in grain science and industry from Kansas State University.
Jessica Wellnitz has been named product line manager for whole grain nutrition, a new position at the company. She will grow and manage Bay State Milling’s portfolio of whole grain plant-based ingredients. She is a graduate of St. Norbert College and the University of Minnesota — Carlson School of Management.
