ROBESONIA, PA. — Michael K. Johnson has been promoted to vice-president of Thomas L. Green, a brand of Reading Bakery Systems. Mr. Johnson has been with Thomas L. Green since 1990 when he joined the company as a cost accountant. His position was expanded to director of information systems and then vice-president of operations overseeing manufacturing. Following the acquisition of Thomas L. Green, located in Indianapolis, by Reading Bakery Systems in 2001, Mr. Johnson became director of Thomas L. Green and also oversaw manufacturing in Robesonia for several years. Most recently, he was executive director of Thomas L. Green with primary responsibilities for the parts operation, roll manufacturing, the assembly of sheeting systems and the acquisition of components.
Mr. Johnson studied mechanical engineering at Purdue University and has a bachelor’s of science degree in finance from Indiana University.
