RONKONKOMA, N.Y. — Nutrition energy bar maker Balance Bar is breaking into a new category with the launch of Balance bites. The protein-packed, pop-able snack bites are available in two flavors: chocolate and peanut butter. The Balance bites are available in single-serve pouches that are 190 calories, have 13 grams of protein, and are gluten-free and non-bioengineered.

Balance bites feature Balance Bar’s 40-30-30 nutrition principle, which was develope to help satisfy hunger through a formulation where 40% of calories come from carbohydrates, 30% from protein and 30% from dietary fat.Balance bites will be available at retailers in late spring with a suggested retail price of $1.79 per bag.
