NASHVILLE, TENN. — FM Bakery, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Frothy Monkey, L.L.C., has acquired Bella Bakery of Fatherland Street in East Nashville. Bella Bakery is known for its artisan bread, which is made from organic flours, natural starters and long fermentation methods. The bakery’s whole wheat flour is milled in house daily.

Since the current ownership team took over operations of Frothy Monkey in 2011, they have not only expanded the brand to include three new locations, but also have brought coffee roasting and baking in-house to better serve their stores and customers.

“We designed our downtown Nashville location to house our baking operation, but since then we have outgrown the space,” said Ryan Pruitt, owner of Frothy Monkey. “It was a logical next step to source a space for our wholesale and retail baking operation that could accommodate its growth.”
