BLOOMINGTON, MINN. — Matt Wineinger has been named president and Dirk Swart has been promoted to executive vice-president of industrial sales and marketing of United Sugars Corp.

Matt Wineinger will join United Sugars as president in June.

Mr. Wineinger will join United Sugars as president in June, succeeding John Doxsie, who is retiring. Prior to joining United Sugars, Mr. Wineinger was president of Bulk Ingredients for Tate & Lyle P.L.C., where he was responsible for global production and sales of $3.8 billion of commodity sweeteners, industrial starches, ethanol and acidulants produced from operations in the United States, Morocco, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey, Colombia and Brazil. He is a native of Kansas and a graduate of Kansas State University and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Swart most recently was vice-president of industrial sales and marketing. He has been with the company since its inception in 1994, advancing through sales and marketing ranks. Mr. Swart is a native of Ohio and a graduate of the University of Toledo and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

United Sugars Corp. is a marketer of beet and cane sugar to major food and beverage manufacturers and food retailers in the United States. It is owned by the American Crystal Sugar Co., Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative and the United States Sugar Co. of Clewiston, Fla.
