Alliance Consumer Growth has taken a stake in Live Better Brands, maker of the Way Better Snacks brand.

MINNEAPOLIS — Alliance Consumer Growth, a private equity firm that has invested in such food and beverage companies as Barkthins and Suja Juice, has taken a stake in Live Better Brands, maker of the Way Better Snacks brand. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Live Better Brands said the investment will support its efforts to expand product distribution nationwide, expand new product development and increase its overall marketing spend.

Founded in 2001, the Way Better Snacks product line features tortilla chips and crackers.
