FOSTER CITY, CALIF. — Love With Food, a snack delivery service specializing in organic and natural products, has acquired Taste Guru, a leading gluten-free subscription service. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Love With Food, which debuted in January 2012, sends a curated selection of product samples to consumers for a monthly fee. For every snack box delivered, the company said it donates one meal to feed a hungry child in America. Featured products include Sahale Snacks nut mixes, Cosmos Creations popcorn, Wild Garden hummus dip and YumEarth Organics fruit snacks.

The deal marks Love With Food’s second acquisition in the snack subscription space in the past year, as well as its continued expansion into the gluten-free market. The company merged with G-Free Foodie in November 2014.

“Love With Food’s mission is to provide the best snacking experience by helping consumers snack smarter, with a highly curated variety of junk-free, guilt-free, tasty snacks tailored to different dietary needs and preferences,” said Aihui Ong, founder and chief executive officer of Love With Food. “The large and growing crowd of those choosing gluten-free are a perfect fit with our mission, and we're dedicated to serving them. As Taste Guru has served as one of the leading gluten-free services, merging their industry expertise with ours makes perfect sense.”
