CSM Bakery Solutions is a provider of bakery ingredients, products and services.

ATLANTA — CSM Bakery Solutions, a provider of bakery ingredients, products and services with origins in The Netherlands, will relocate its global headquarters to Sandy Springs, Ga., from Amsterdam. As part of the move, CSM said it will invest more than $5.5 million in the location and create 120 jobs.

By moving its global headquarters to Sandy Springs, CSM will consolidate several regional functions into one centralized location. The transition will bring CSM’s total employment in Georgia to more than 800. The facility will include a customer experience center where CSM said it will showcase its culinary expertise and many of its products and solutions in a customer-friendly environment. CSM expects to complete the move by mid-2016.

“We’re very grateful to the state of Georgia and the city of Sandy Springs for their collective efforts in helping to bring CSM Bakery Solutions’ global headquarters to the Atlanta area,” said Robert Sharpe, president and chief executive officer of CSM. “Critical in our decision were the area’s transportation infrastructure, schools, cost and quality of housing, and business-friendly atmosphere, all in support of our multicultural workforce.”

Affiliates of Rhone Capital in 2013 purchased CSM Bakery Supplies, now CSM Bakery Solutions, from CSM n.v., which changed its name to Corbion, for an enterprise value of €1,050 million. CSM Bakery Solutions produces and distributes bakery products and ingredients for artisan and industrial bakeries, and for in-store and out-of-home markets, mainly in Europe and North America. CSM has annual revenues of approximately $3 billion and more than 45,000 global customers, and a global footprint and integrated supply chain that includes 34 manufacturing facilities, 26 distribution centers and 4 innovation centers.
