MUNICH, GERMANY — Lallemand will sponsor a two-hour seminar on global health trends on Sept. 15 at iba 2015, a trade fair for bakery, confectionery and snacks companies.

The seminar will highlight four topics: “Global trends in the baking industry,” presented by Peter Becker, president of the Central Association of German Bakers; “The organic food markets in Europe: trends and market drivers. Focus on bread and home baking segments,” presented by Annemarie Halter, business development manager of organic yeast — Lallemand, and Nicolai Jensen, general manager, Denmark, Lallemand; “Developments to extend mold free shelf life,” presented by Jan van Eijk, Ph.D., R.&D. director, Lallemand Baking Solutions; and “A slice of sunshine: vitamin D in bread,” presented by Chris Newbold, bakery technologist, Marks and Spencer.
