CAMBRIA, WIS. — Riley Didion has been promoted to president of Didion Milling, effective immediately. The promotion of Mr. Didion is the centerpiece of a strategic succession plan being implemented at the company.

As president, Mr. Didion succeeds Dow Didion, a co-founder of the family-owned business. Dow Didion and John Didion, chief executive officer and co-founder, are transitioning from their current roles to positions on the Didion board of directors.

“Riley will be a key factor in Didion's continued success,” Dow Didion said. “His personal and professional values closely align with our culture and he brings to this position a strong track record of developing people and inspiring teams.”

Riley Didion joined Didion Milling in 2012 and held positions as vice-president of business development and sales manager. Before joining the milling business, Mr. Didion was a vice-president of Grubb & Ellis, a corporate real estate company.

In his new position, Mr. Didion will focus on day-to-day operations within the corn mill and ethanol plant.

His elevation and the shifts in assignments of the company’s founders are aimed at “ensuring the longevity of the business,” the company said.

“Dow and I are thrilled to pass the torch to Riley,” John Didion said. “While we will continue to have an active role in the company, we are confident in his abilities and excited for the future of Didion.”
