DALLAS — Gruma S.A.B. de C.V. has partnered with Southern Methodist University to create The Mission Foods Texas-Mexico Center, whose main objective will be to study, elevate and improve the Mexico-Texas-United States relationship through research, annual conferences and public forums. Gruma has agreed to contribute $4 million to the development of the center.

“Through this initiative, we would like to stress our conviction that working together in good faith is the most effective path toward finding solutions to common problems and the best way of creating more and better opportunities for the progress of individuals and companies,” said Juan Gonzalez Moreno, president and chief executive officer of Gruma.
