Turano Baking Co. is looking to meet growing demand from restaurateurs and chefs by expanding its bread delivery.
CHICAGO — Turano Baking Co. has announced it will begin expanding its bread delivery to restaurants in Indianapolis. The company’s artisan bread products currently are delivered to parts of Illinois, Northwest Indiana and Wisconsin.
Turano Baking said the expansion reflects growing demand from restaurateurs and chefs for the company’s fresh artisan rolls and bread.
“Over the past 50-plus years, our family has been fortunate to have supported and worked with the premier restaurateurs and chefs in the Midwest,” said Mario Turano, head of marketing. “We are excited to expand our reach to support the culinary talents of Indianapolis.”Founded in 1962, Turano Baking Co. is a Chicago-based bakery that makes Italian and European artisan bread. The company delivers its products to local grocers and restaurants.
