CHICAGO — East Balt Bakeries has opened a bakery in Rome, its second facility to be opened in Italy. The new high speed bakery is capable of producing a variety of sandwich carriers in both standard and artisan formats. In addition to Rome, East Balt operates a bakery in Bomporto, Italy, that serves quick-service restaurants and retail customers in the region.
