ROBESONIA, PA. — Eugene Schwartz has been named project manager at Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a manufacturer of baking and snack systems. In his new role, Mr. Schwartz will manage delivery of projects and control project scopes, budgets and schedules. He will report to Tremaine Hartranft, director of engineering for RBS.
Mr. Schwartz has more than 20 years of experience in construction, project management and aerospace engineering. He joins RBS from Sikorsky Helicopter, a Lockheed Martin company, where he was an engineering project manager.
Prior to Sikorsky, Mr. Schwartz worked as a project manager specialist for Victaulic Inc. During his career he has progressed from CAD operator to design engineer to engineering/construction project manager and managed project integration, scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communications, risk and procurement both domestically and internationally.
“Eugene has learned project management from the ground up,” Mr. Hartranft said. “He has been involved in all facets of the procurement process, from design to budgeting to scheduling. This experience will be extremely beneficial for helping Reading Bakery Systems deliver systems to our customers, on time and on budget.”
Mr. Schwartz received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from The College of New Jersey.
