NEW CENTURY, KAS. – DuPont Nutrition & Health plans to invest $100 million to expand its probiotics production capacity in the United States. Production will be optimized with the installation of new, high-volume fermenters and other processing equipment at plants in Madison, Wis., and Rochester, N.Y., and, once complete, probiotics production capacity will increase 70%, the company said.
