JTM Food Group groundbreaking
The four Maas brothers who own JTM Food Group – Tony, Jack, Joe and Jerry – lifted the first shovels of dirt to officially kick off the new construction project.

HARRISON, OHIO — JTM Food Group, manufacturer of fully-cooked menu solutions for the food service industry, has broken ground on a new manufacturing plant at its Harrison headquarters.

The new facility will feature a more efficient production line, JTM said, and is expected to produce nearly 1.5 million lbs of “kettle” products (burrito fillings, macaroni and cheese, sauces, dips, soups, chili, etc.) each week. When the plant is completed, JTM said it will have the capacity to produce more than 100 million lbs of “kettle” cooked product annually.

JTM’s new facility will be supported by a distribution center that has been under construction since August 2016.

“This new facility is an exciting step forward for our company and a direct reflection of the passion and dedication of our employees,” said Tony Maas, president of JTM Food Group. “Our team is committed to innovation and growth, and that approach is creating more and more opportunity for JTM to flourish. We want to continue to stay ahead of those trends and opportunities, and this new facility will give us the capacity to meet the needs of our growing customer base. The expansion will also help us continue to provide the highest standard of quality products and services for years to come.”
