Hostess Ice Cream - Twinkies, Sno-Balls, CupCake
Hostess branded ice cream is available in three varieties: Twinkies, CupCakes and Sno Balls.

KANSAS CITY — Hostess Brands, L.L.C. and Nestle Dreyer’s Ice Cream Co. on Jan. 31 announced the official launch of a license agreement that paves the way for Nestle to manufacture and distribute Hostess frozen novelties and ice cream.

“Everyone’s favorite Hostess treats — Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Sno Balls and CupCakes — are now available in a creative new form as creamy and delicious frozen desserts,” said Ellen Copaken, vice-president of marketing at Hostess. “We continually seek to reinvent our classic treats and are excited to have this new innovation added to the freezer aisle where fans can already find our Deep Fried Twinkies.”

Rachel Jaiven, marketing manager for Nestle Dreyer’s Ice Cream Co., added, “Over the past year we’ve been working closely with Hostess to perfect the recipes and pay homage to these nostalgic treats. We’re thrilled to lend our ice cream expertise to give fans a new way to enjoy their favorite classic snack cakes.”

Hostess Twinkies ice cream cone
 

 

• Twinkie Cone — An ice cream cone filled with a creamy Twinkie-flavored filling topped with golden sponge cake crumbles. The Twinkie cones come four to a box and have a suggested retail price of $4.49.

Hostess Ding Dong Ice Cream Sandwich
 

 

• Ding Dong Sandwich — A chocolatey frozen dessert sandwich that features chocolate on the outside and vanilla on the inside. The sandwiches are available in boxes of five for $4.49 or individually for $1.99.

Hostess Sno Ball dessert bars
 

 

• Sno Balls Bar — A pink, coconut-dusted bar with a vanilla and chocolate center. The bars are available in boxes of five for $4.49.

The Hostess branded ice cream is available in three varieties: Twinkies, CupCakes and Sno Balls. The ice cream is available in 48-oz cartons for $5.99 or pints for $2.99.
