New Mill Capital acquired the facility in November 2016.

FEDERALSBURG, MD. — New Mill Capital Holdings, which last fall acquired a 103,000-square-foot plant in Federalsburg that previously served as a bread and dehydrated product operation for Stove Top Stuffing and other products of the Kraft Heinz Co., is set to auction all production equipment at the site. An on-line auction will open April 1 and close April 13 at www.newmillcapital.com.

“While we had a number of interested suitors for the bakery in its current capacity, ultimately we have solidified a new operator for the location outside of the bakery vertical, which means the processing and production equipment needs to be monetized now,” said Eric Weiler, principal of New Mill Capital Holdings. “This is a great opportunity for anyone in the market for late model bread product or crouton production equipment with zero lead time.”

The 103,000-square-foot plant in Federalsburg previously served as a bread and dehydrated product operation for Stove Top Stuffing and other products of the Kraft Heinz Co.

New Mill Capital said the auction will include three complete bread lines, large Peerless batch mixers, dough dividing, tray ovens, metal detection, ambient spiral systems, size reduction, dryers, bulk packaging and process and plant support equipment.
