Klosterman Baking is debuting four new 24-oz organic bread varieties.
CINCINNATI — Klosterman Baking Co. is entering the organic market with four new organic 24-oz bread varieties.
Klosterman’s new organic raisin bread, organic honey wheat bread, organic honey white bread and organic 100% whole wheat bread will be distributed fresh and frozen nationally to restaurants, co-packers, retailers, institutions and food service customers.
The new product line was designed to add value to the menus of Klosterman’s food service customers “by offering exciting new opportunities, reinvigorating the sales of current menu items and creating fresh offerings,” the company said, as well as help restaurant operators and retailers reach new customers.
“As consumers become more informed about the foods they are feeding themselves and their families, it has become increasingly important for both restaurants and grocery retailers to do the same,” said Amy Schmitz, director of marketing for Klosterman. “Transparency and a need for a more open conversation between consumer and company inspired us to take the next step and launch our newest organic products.”
