BRUXELLES, BELGIUM — The International Association of Plant Bakers (AIBI) has elected Joseph Street, Fine Lady Bakeries, Bugbrooke, U.K., as its new president at its 35th Annual Congress in Versailles, France, from May 25-28. He succeeds Jean-Manuel Levêque, Delifrance, who served as president of the European bakery association for the past two years.

Other board changes include Janez Bojc, Žito, Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Georg Heberer, Wiener Feinbäckerei Heberer GmbH, Mühlheim, Germany, being elected to vice-president positions and Armin Juncker, Association of German Bakeries, taking on the role of treasurer.
