Recalls of Robin Hood flour date back to March.

OTTAWA — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency  on June 15 updated its food recall  warning in connection to Robin Hood all purpose flour because of additional lots of product discovered to have been sold at retail. The C.F.I.A. identified several lots of 20-kilogram (44-lb) bags the agency said were intended for sale at hotels, restaurants and institutions that have been sold at “various retailers in Ontario and possibly nationally.”

Recalls of Robin Hood flour date back to March, when an outbreak of Escherichia coli (E. coli 0121) was linked to the brand. In the weeks that followed, recalls of several flour brands milled by three different companies were initiated, all because of concern about E. coli O121 contamination.
