ROBESONIA, PA. — Bill Wierenga has joined Reading Bakery Systems (RBS) as engineering research and development manager. In this role, he will develop and test new machinery designs for the snack production systems manufacturer.
“Bill has almost 20 years of engineering experience, with nearly the last 10 years of it designing and engineering food production equipment,” said Tremaine Hartranft, director of engineering for RBS. “With this background, Bill will be an invaluable source of new solutions for RBS and its customers.”Mr. Wierenga previously was a product engineer at Oliver Packaging and Equipment Co., and earlier was a mechanical engineer at Baker Perkins.
