Keith Cooper has been named interim c.e.o. of the Americas business at Aryzta AG.

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND — Keith Cooper has been named interim chief executive officer of the Americas business at Aryzta AG, the company’s board of directors announced on June 20. Mr. Cooper is a senior managing director at FTI Consulting, but he has been supporting Aryzta management in North America on business optimization and efficiency improvements since March.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Cooper was a partner in the U.S. division of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Business Recovery Services practice.

He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management information systems from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.

Additionally, Aryzta said Ronan Minahan is stepping down as chief operating officer of Americas to pursue other interests, effective immediately. He will continue to be available to support Mr. Cooper and the management team to progress operational efficiency and EBITDA enhancement opportunities.

“The board of Aryzta would like to express its gratitude to Ronan,” the company said. “He has dedicated more than 10 years’ service to Aryzta and assumed additional responsibilities since February of this year. The board wishes him every success for the future.”

In mid-May, Kevin Toland was named c.e.o. of Aryzta AG, succeeding Owen Killian. That news came after the announcement in February that Patrick McEniff, chief financial officer and chief operating officer, and John Yamin, c.e.o. of Americas, were departing the company.
