NEW YORK — International Flavors & Fragrances has launched Tastepoint by IFF, a new company designed to service middle-market customers in North America, New York-based I.F.F. said June 26. Tastepoint by IFF represents the merger of Ottens Flavors, acquired in 2015, and David Michael & Co., acquired in 2016.

When acquiring Philadelphia-based Henry H. Ottens Manufacturing Co., I.F.F. noted the company had a strong portfolio of U.S.-based accounts. When acquiring Philadelphia-based David Michael & Co., I.F.F. said the company was well known for its vanilla expertise, strength in the dairy and beverage categories, and relationships with middle-market customers.
