HAMPSTEAD, MD. — Fuchs North America, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavor systems and taste solutions for the food manufacturing, retail and food service industries, held a grand opening ceremony for its new headquarters in Hampstead on June 30.

The ribbon cutting was conducted by Dan Cooper, chief executive officer of Fuchs North America, Nils Meyer-Pries, global c.e.o. of Fuchs Group, and Alexander Fuchs, chief information officer of Fuchs Group.

“The move to our new headquarters was driven by the need to be able to support continued growth,” Mr. Cooper said. “With this investment in our new state-of-the-art facility and equipment, we will more than double our annual capacity.”

Fuchs North America was previously headquartered in Owings Mills, Md., but after several expansions needed more space to grow. The new facility sits on 21 acres of land and contains an expanded R.&D. testing, including microbiology, quality assurance and sensory labs along with a spacious test kitchen. Other capabilities include mix manufacturing, spice milling, sterilization, packaging and warehousing.
