Pack Expo Las Vegas aims to unite the world of packaging and processing to advance the industries they serve.

There are several hot-button issues that Pack Expo Las Vegas is looking to address for the packaging world. Namely, sustainability, flexible packaging, product safety and consumer desire for convenient packages. This year’s show, produced by PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, will be held Sept. 25-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will showcase the latest in packaging innovation.

The event expects 30,000 attendees, including 5,000 international visitors from more than 125 countries, and more than 2,000 exhibiting companies. In addition, PMMI will debut the Healthcare Packaging Expo, which will be co-located with Pack Expo.

To help baking and snack food manufacturers navigate the nearly 900,000 square feet of exhibit space, Pack Expo Las Vegas features industry-specific pavilions such as the Baking and Snack Food Lounge. In this area, attendees can network with peers, gain specialized insights, and rest and recharge. The show offers many opportunities for bakers and snack manufacturers to explore new package designs, cutting-edge machinery technology and automation solutions needed to meet consumer demands and their business goals.

Additionally, the Containers and Materials Pavilion will include the latest innovations, including updates on paperboard, glass, metal and plastic. Flexible and resealable packaging options will be on display along with other options for containers and materials.

The Showcase of Packaging Innovations will feature award-nominated packaging solutions. This showcase will be located within the Containers and Materials Pavilion. Attendees will be able to see inspiring technologies that address the evolving needs of demanding consumers.

The Reusable Packaging Pavilion, sponsored by the Reusable Packaging Association, will provide insight into the rising demand for sustainable packaging solutions. Attendees considering how these materials can help their bottom line can learn how to reduce waste, cut costs and improve efficiency.

In addition to the packaging and processing technologies that will be displayed on the show floor, attendees will have access to free educational programming at the Innovation Stage. PMMI has scheduled 30-minute seminars during the show presenting breakthrough innovations and techniques focusing on a wide range of industry-specific solutions.

As with PMMI’s other international trade shows, Pack Expo Las Vegas aims to unite the world of packaging and processing to advance the industries they serve. Registration is $30 through Sept. 1 and will increase to $100 thereafter.
