The K-State Grain Science and Industry program offers college degrees in baking, feed, or milling science and management. 
 

MANHATTAN, KAS. — The Department of Grain Science and Industry at Kansas State University is seeking applications for a 12-month tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. The job will include 80% teaching and 20% research in the area of bakery science.

The candidate will be expected to obtain extramural support for an undergraduate research program focused on relevant problems in the baking industry. The candidate also will develop an innovative teaching program, encompassing both existing and new undergraduate courses covering subject matter related to bakery science and management.  

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in bakery science, food science, or relevant disciplines. A minimum of two-years of experience in the baking or allied industries is required as well as a demonstrated ability to teach in a classroom setting and conduct scholarly research.
