Wheat, corn and soybeans
The U.S.D.A. forecast the carryover of U.S. wheat on June 1, 2018, at 989 million bus, the carryover of corn on Sept. 1, 2018 at 2,477 million bus and soybean carryover on Sept. 1, 2018 at 470 million bus.
 

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Agriculture in its Jan. 12 World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report forecast the carryover of U.S. wheat on June 1, 2018, at 989 million bus, up 29 million bus, or 3%, from the December forecast but down 192 million bus, or 16%, from 1,181 million bus in 2017. The increase was based on lower use for seed, feed and residual and higher imports.

The carryover of corn on Sept. 1, 2018, was forecast at 2,477 million bus, up 40 million bus, or 1.6%, from December and up 184 million bus, or 8%, from 2,293 million bus in 2017.

Soybean carryover on Sept. 1, 2018, was forecast at 470 million bus, up 25 million bus, or 6%, from December and up 168 million bus, or 56%, from 302 million bus in 2017.
