LAS VEGAS — From e-commerce trends to the rise of personalization, the 2018 IRI Growth Summit, being held April 16-18 in Las Vegas, will cover pressing issues facing C.P.G. companies. As retail trends continue to shift at a rapid pace, the event will provide an in-depth look at current and future problems facing businesses and focus on the power of big data.
Developed with direct input from past attendees and by IRI executive leadership and marketing teams, the 3-day conference is specifically designed for C.P.G. manufacturers, retailers and their advertising and media partners.
“The IRI Growth Summit is unique because of the convergence of professionals and speakers across different industries that come together with a shared goal of developing new growth strategies,” said John McIndoe, chief marketing officer, IRI.
Attendees will learn about a variety of topics affecting marketing, market research, brand management, category management, pricing and promotions, and advertising.
The event will feature large-audience general sessions, smaller best practice sessions, an Innovation Showcase and numerous networking opportunities.
During general sessions, speakers from Frito-Lay, Kroger, Unilever and more will share case studies and advice on leveraging big data. Smaller breakout sessions will cover analytics, the latest research on digital marketing, e-commerce strategies, cross-channel media targeting, artificial intelligence and more. At the Innovation Showcase, attendees can learn about the latest mobile technologies, data visualization, predictive analytics and other tools.
“With an ever-changing marketplace, growing number of advertising channels, and continuously evolving consumer needs, it is becoming more difficult to catch up,” Mr. McIndoe said. “The main goal of the IRI Growth Summit is to provide insights and connections for those wanting to propel their brands and businesses to remain one step ahead of the curve.”
