The I.F.F. site in Sri City will be the company's largest in Asia.

NEW YORK —International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc., (I.F.F.) has initiated construction on a new plant located in Sri City, India. The 32-acre site will be the company’s largest facility in Asia and produce flavor solutions for customers across the region.

"India is a priority market for I.F.F.,” said MG Prakash, India managing director, I.F.F. “We are excited about our investment in Sri City and the world-class manufacturing facility designed to meet our customers’ current and future needs.’’ 

I.F.F.’s latest operation is sustainably designed for efficient water use and reuse and maximization of natural daylight. It is outfitted with rainwater harvesting capabilities, low-consumption LED lighting and energy efficient building materials and equipment. 

The new site is part of I.F.F.’s larger investment into the Greater Asia region and is expected open in December 2019.
