Brown Sugar Molasses from International Molasses Corp. can be mixed in-plant at various ratios to produce brown sugar, thus avoiding the caking and storage problems with hygroscopic brown sugar. The molasses can be mixed directly with granulated sugar. Another approach is to mix the formulation’s granulated sugar and other dry ingredients and then add the molasses. The company offers three styles to achieve light, medium and dark brown colors. Intermediate color levels and flavor profiles can also be achieved.
