The Thomas L. Green 4-roll sheeter from Reading Bakery Systems generates a consistent dough sheet ready for further thickness reduction or lamination. The upper set of rolls is grooved providing constant dough feeding from the dough hopper. The lower rolls are smooth maintaining a constant density of dough and a smooth dough sheet. The cavity pressure between the four rolls is maintained by automatically controlling the speed of the upper rolls, which provides a uniform dough sheet with minimal stress, sheer or crystallization. Hinged guards provide full access to the drive gears and timing belts for maintenance and inspection. Safety-interlocked, stainless steel guarding and mushroom head E-Stops provide operator safety. The 4-roll sheeter can be floor-mounted or positioned above the laminator.
