According to a survey conducted by Kelton Research on behalf of The J.M. Smucker Co., Orrville, OH, six in 10 (59%) US parents would rather have a delicious morning meal than an extra 15 minutes of sleep. To fill this need, the company launches Snack’n Waffles, heat-and-eat waffles with sweetness baked in to give families a portable breakfast. Available in four flavors — Blueberry, Maple, Cinnamon and Chocolate Chip — Snack’n Waffles microwave in 15 seconds and contain 16 g whole grains per 57-g serving. Their baked-in sweetness comes from sugar, corn syrup solids, fructose and, in the case of the Maple variety, maple-flavored flakes.
