Kalsec has released a new consumer study that probes parental attitudes about colors in foods for their children. More than 80% of respondents in the US and UK with a child between the ages of 3 and 12 said they were more likely to purchase a food product if it contains a naturally sourced color instead of a synthetic color. Seven out of every 10 parents also said they would be willing to pay a premium for such foods. The company offers the study at a special website.
