EUGENE, ORE. — Yogi has launched a line of crisps and cereals that feature five ancient grains. The grains — oats, barley, spelt, amaranth and quinoa — are naturally rich in antioxidants, protein and fiber.
Yogi Granola Crisps are available in three flavors: Fresh Strawberry Crunch, Baked Cinnamon Raisin and Mountain Blueberry Flax. Each ½–cup serving has 2.5 grams of fat and 5 grams of sugar. Depending on the flavor, a serving ranges between 110 and 120 calories with only 20 calories from fat.
In addition to the crisps, Yogi is launching three new cereals combining the five ancient grains with exotic ingredients such as goji berries, dates, green tea and cherries. Yogi cereals include: Cherry Almond Crunch, Goji Berry Flake & Cluster and Walnut Spice Crunch.
The crisps and cereals contain only non-bioengineered ingredients and are made without high-fructose corn syrup, MSG, or artificial colors and flavors of any kind.
Yogi Granola Crisps are sold in 10.4-oz re-sealable bags for approximately $5 and 12-oz boxes of Yogi cereals are approximately $4.49.
