DECATUR, ILL. – Tedd Kruse has been named vice-president, Corn Processing, and Duane Holz has been named general manager, North American Food Oils, for Archer Daniels Midland Co., Decatur.

Mr. Kruse will be responsible for sales and marketing for corn-based sweeteners in North America. He will report to Dennis Riddle, president, Corn Processing. Mr. Kruse joined ADM in 1993 as a grain merchandiser and most recently served as vice-president, North American Food Oils. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University.

"Tedd’s vast experience in both commodities and sales management makes him the ideal person to manage sales of our corn sweetener products," Mr. Riddle said. "Customers will benefit from Tedd’s knowledge of agricultural commodities as well as his understanding of the issues they face in their businesses."

Mr. Holz will be responsible for commercial activities related to ADM’s North American Food Oils business. He will report to Mark Zenuk, vice-president, Global Oilseeds. Mr. Holz joined ADM in 1998 and has held various positions within the company’s North American and European oils business. He most recently served as general manager of European Oils and Fats in Rolle, Switzerland. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois College.
