TORRANCE, CALIF. — Eric Ahlin has been named director of logistics at King’s Hawaiian. Mr. Ahlin will oversee product distribution operations to King’s Hawaiian sales outlets across the United States.

Mr. Ahlin’s responsibilities will encompass manufacturing coordination, processing, distribution and vendor management.

Mr. Ahlin has more than 20 years of experience in logistics and facilities management with particular focus on distribution and transportation.

Previously he was senior operations manager and distribution/manager at The Dannon Co., responsible for maintaining inventories.

King’s Hawaiian is a leading baker of Hawaiian sweet bread and dinner rolls. The company operates a 150,000-square-foot baking plant in Torrance and has been expanding distribution of bread products into stores nationwide.
