DECATUR, ILL. — Archer Daniels Midland Co. said it will build two grain elevators in Nebraska. Located near Fullerton and Newman Grove, each elevator will have the capacity to store corn, soybeans and wheat, and each will have capacity for 1.5 million bus of upright storage and 2 million bus of temporary storage. Construction of the elevators is scheduled to begin in early 2011 and is expected to be completed in time for the 2011 harvest. Each of the elevators also will feature two high-speed receiving pits and inbound and outbound truck scales to minimize wait times.
