ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Eugenio Minvielle has been named executive vice-president of Unilever’s North American business, effective immediately. Mr. Minvielle, 45, has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, most recently as president and chief executive officer of Nestle France, Mexico and Venezuela. Prior to these senior leadership roles, Mr. Minvielle also held a variety of management positions and worked for Procter & Gamble in Spain and Canon in Japan. Mr. Minvielle will report to Dave Lewis, who has been named to replace Michael Polk as president, Unilever, Americas. Mr. Polk succeeds the retiring Vindi Banga as president of global foods, home and personal care.
