ST. LOUIS – Ronald D. Wilkinson has been appointed to the newly created position of president, Ralcorp Cereal Products, effective immediately. He will lead both the Branded Cereal Products and Other Cereal Products segments for St. Louis-based Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. The segments include Post Foods, L.L.C., Ralston Foods and Bloomfield Bakers.
Mr. Wilkinson currently serves as president of Ralcorp’s Ralston Foods division. He will retain his status as corporate vice-president of Ralcorp and will continue to report to David P. Skarie, co-chief executive officer and president of Ralcorp Holdings.
In a related move, Bart Adlam was promoted to president of Post Foods, L.L.C. from the position of vice-president of marketing for Post Foods. He will report to Mr. Wilkinson.
Mr. Wilkinson has more than 34 years of experience. He worked for 19 years at the Quaker Oats Co., where he was vice-president of supply chain for the company’s U.S. breakfast division. He joined Ralcorp in 1985 as executive vice-president of manufacturing for Ralston Foods. Since then he has served as director of product supply at Ralston Foods, director of product supply for The Carriage House Companies, president of Bremmer Food Group, Inc. and Nutcracker Brands, Inc., and president of Ralston Foods.
“Ron brings a wealth of experience in the food business, specifically cereal category experience, to this position,” Mr. Skarie said. “We want Ralcorp’s cereal business to be better and more competitive in every way possible, and I know Ron will create the synergies and product improvements to help us achieve our goal.”
