CAMDEN, N.J. — A new management team has been named at Campbell Soup Co. for the company’s North American healthy beverages and soup and simple meals business.

The new appointments include:

• Ed Carolan has been named vice-president and general manager of soup and simple meals. Mr. Carolan will be responsible for U.S. soup and sauces and the company’s specialty brands business, including Wolfgang Puck soups and SpaghettiO pasta. He was previously senior vice-president and general manager for baked snacks with Pepperidge Farm and has been with Campbell since 2001.

• Tim Hassett has been named senior vice-president of sales for Campbell North America. Mr. Hassett will be responsible for Campbell sales organization in the United States and Canada across both retail and food service. He was previously senior vice-president of fresh and frozen bakery at Pepperidge Farm and has been with Campbell since 2004.

• Darren Serrao has been named vice-president and general manager of beverages and breakthrough innovation, a newly created role. He was most recently vice-president and general manager of sauces and beverages, and will continue to lead the health beverages business in the United States and accelerate innovation in the U.S. retail business in simple meals and healthy beverages. He has been with the company since 2009.

• Chris Slager will be vice-president and general manager of North America food service and will work with soups, sauces, beverage and Pepperidge Farm away-from-home products in the United States and Canada. He was previously vice-president and general manager of traditional food service and has been with Campbell since 2002.
