SACRAMENTO, CALIF. — Jennifer Eastman has been appointed an R.&D. food scientist for Sacramento-based Blue Diamond Almonds. She will focus on new product development and technology in the company’s industrial products division. She has expertise in applications involving baked foods, health and wellness bars, confectionery items and snacks.
Ms. Eastman previously worked as a product development manager and scientist for PGP International, Grace Cocoa and AIB International. She received bachelor’s of science degrees in bakery science and food science from Kansas State University in Manhattan, a master’s of science degree in grain science from Kansas State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Memphis.
