NORWICH, VT. — Mark Tecca has joined King Arthur Flour in the newly created position of director of new business development. In his new role, Mr. Tecca will be responsible for facilitating the evaluation of new business ideas to increase the number of new opportunities the employee-owned company may pursue.

“We are proud to have Mark join the King Arthur Flour team,” said Michael Bittel, senior vice-president and general manager of flour. “We have so many opportunities to develop new products to meet customer demand, and adding someone of Mark’s caliber to focus on this area of our business will help us make these opportunities into realities.”

Mr. Tecca brings to the position years of experience in sales, sales management, product management, business development, and partnership development in the technology industry and nonprofit arena. Most recently he was vice-president of business development at Commercial Logic, Inc.

He received a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

“There’s no shortage of good new business ideas at King Arthur Flour,” Mr. Tecca said. “If we can evaluate and prioritize them more quickly, it will keep new ideas coming from customers, employees, and partners. I feel exceptionally fortunate to work with such a great team of people, serving customers who love what we do.”
