MANHATTAN, KAS. — For a third straight year, the International Grains Program at Kansas State University will offer, in cooperation with the International Association of Operative Millers, a 2½ day seminar on flour milling safety.

“Grain milling: Food safety and HACCP workshop” will be held Oct. 11-13 at the I.G.P. conference center in Manhattan. The seminar will feature food safety related instructions regarding the flour milling process, flour mill good manufacturing processes and master sanitation schedules, an explanation of HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control point) and a how-to for developing a step-by-step implementation of a HACCP program at a mill.
