WASHINGTON — An upcoming meeting of the American Bakers Association Executive Leadership Development Committee will feature presentations by Senator John Boozman of Arkansas, Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia and Representative Tim Scott of South Carolina.

The legislators will be speaking Sept. 21-23 at the E.L.D.C. Public Policy Forum in Washington.

“E.L.D.C. is honored to have such distinguished members of Congress on the program agenda of this year’s forum,” said E.L.D.C. co-chairman Miles Dennis of Flowers Foods, Inc. “Senators Boozman and Isakson, along with Representative Scott, are proven congressional leaders and ardent supporters of the baking industry and broader business community. We look forward to their remarks with great anticipation and gratitude.”

The forum brings together executives of the baking and allied trades together in a program dealing with industry trends while encouraging active participation in public policy discussions, the political process and its impact on the industry. The forum also seeks to educate participants about the role of the A.B.A. and its activities while offering participants development of personal leadership and management skills.
