CHICAGO – Registration for the “All Things Baking” trade show scheduled for Oct. 2-4 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Ill., already has surpassed total registration at the 2009 American Retail Bakery Exhibition. The Retail Bakers of America, the American Bakers Association and BEMA support the “All Things Baking” event, which replaces the American Retail Bakery Exhibition.

“We are thrilled with the number of pre-registrations – and know our exhibitors will be, too,” said Jacquelyn Clair, marketing manager of the event. “The new event is already up 30% over pre-registration compared to the R.B.A. standalone event that occurred in 2009. This is an exciting time to launch a show aimed at forward-thinkers who want to take their baking or food business to the next level.”

The event has 140 exhibitors so far. The new national trade show will serve as the industry’s annual market place, meeting place and educational forum during the two-year gap in the International Baking Industry Exposition, which takes place every three years.
